INSMA joins WASM as a Corporate Member

The Indian Sport Management Association (INSMA) is proud to announce its official membership as a corporate member in the World Association for Sport Management (WASM), a global body committed to advancing sport management through international collaboration, education and research.

WASM, formally established in April 2012 at Aletheia University, Taiwan, brings together regional sport management associations from around the world. With INSMA joining, India now has formal representation within this global framework.

Dr. Ruth M Crabtree, President of WASM stated: “We are delighted that the Indian Sport Management Association has formally joined WASM as a corporate member. The work of INSMA is very much aligned with the vision and values of WASM and as sport is such an integral part of the culture of India, it is great to have them on board. I am sure the work that INSMA does in collaboration with WASM initiatives will help strengthen the development of sport management within India and we very much look forward to working more closely with their members.”

Dr. Sarthak Mondal, President of INSMA, shared his thoughts on this milestone: “INSMA’s entry into WASM is a proud moment for the sport management community of India. It strengthens our global engagement and opens up exciting opportunities for knowledge exchange, academic collaboration and professional growth.”
