Dr. Anand Rampersad is a lecturer in sociology. He teaches introductory sociology; industrial sociology and sociological theory at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level along with Introductory. His area of research focuses on the sociology of sport with emphasis on sport participation; gender and sport; and history of sport. He writes a sport column, ‘Sportification’ at the Trinidad Guardian. He is a management member of the Trinidad and Tobago Women Cricket and a nominated member of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board.
