Working Groups

The INSMA Professional Standards Working Group aims to develop professional standards driving sport management education in India to ensure standardisation of sport management curricula in India at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral levels. The aim of this group is to:

1. Conduct an exploratory study to identify current state of sport management education at different academic levels in India.
2. Using results from the exploratory study, explore the effectiveness of different teaching methods and pedagogical approaches for sport management education at different academic levels in India.
3. Using results from the exploratory study, explore the role played by industry stakeholders in the development and adaptation of sport management curricula in India.

This working group will prioritise the development and update of frameworks guiding the development of sport management curricula in India in consultation with students, educators and industry professionals.
