The Indian Sport Management Association (INSMA) is proud to announce the launch of the ChangeMaker in Sport Award, which is presented for the 2024 edition by the UNESCO Chair on Governance and Social Responsibility in Sport. The ChangeMaker in Sport Award 2024 presented by the UNESCO Chair on Governance and Social Responsibility in Sport is designed to celebrate the visionaries and trailblazers who have used sport as a medium for meaningful change in India. Eligible candidates include Indian passport holders and registered Section-8 entities. Initiatives must have been in operation since at least January 1, 2023, demonstrating a tangible and measurable impact on improving lives through sport.

The award emphasises innovation, scalability and the replicability of sports-based initiatives that drive social impact. It evaluates candidates on:
Selected finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their work through multimedia presentations and will gain recognition as ChangeMakers in Sport. The deadline for applications for the 2024 Award is December 7, 2024. Eligible participants are invited to submit comprehensive responses along with high-resolution videos and photos that bring their initiatives to life. Supporting documentation, such as articles and public recognition, can further strengthen submissions.
